I had so much fun making the banner for Sheila, that I just had to make a couple more! Here are the pics of the two new banners I've made in the past couple weeks. They are similar, but still a little bit different :)
And here are pics of the second one I made :) The back of this one is pretty much the same as the first, just a different transparency.

My Celebrate Banner
Been really busy around here lately, but all is well now. My dad is at home tonight and feeling pretty good, so thank you to all my wonderful friends for all your thoughts and prayers!
I finally got pictures taken of the beautiful banner I recieved from Sheila - Thank You! I have it hanging in my living room and it looks just perfect!
Just look at the way she did the mini banners on this! I just LOVE the way the paper curls... and the phrase is just perfect! I can keep it up all year long. These pictures just don't do it justice - there is glitter on the little girls ribbon, and on the birds, and on the petals of the beautiful flower - it's just adorable! She even burned the corner of the postcard!
I really got lucky having Sheila as my partner! Thank you so much!!

Celebrate Banner Swap
Today was the day we could post pics of our banners for the GaGa Garland Swap hosted by Tamy Ottomeyer. My partner was Sheila, and I just got my banner in the mail today. And it's beautiful!! I just love it ~ Thank you Sheila! Totally my style and taste, and she did that all before I started my blog! Just from some pictures I'd posted out on Flickr and the few things I have in my also newly started etsy shop. She really did a great job! And I was so excited to open it up, I didn't even take a picture of the wrapping - it was in a black and cream toile tissue paper, tied with a big black ribbon - I LOVE toile! hehehehe I'll post pics tomorrow when I'm able to take a picture that actually does it justice. But you can see a pic of it here on Sheila's blog.
I really hope she enjoys mine, as much as I do her's - and as much as I did making it! It really was a lot of fun. Here are some pics ~enjoy!

If all your friends are doing it.....
If they were going to jump of a bridge - would you jump too? Remember hearing that when you were growing up? Well, I'm jumping - into the blog world that is! First Joyce and Michele did it, and now Mimi, so I had to jump too :) I didn't want to be left out - but this is a good jump Mom, I promise!
I've been participating in swaps lately, and first thing everyone wants to know is - "Do you have a blog?"...and I didn't, and I'm sure that made it hard for people to figure out what I like and what my tastes were, so after lots of thinking and procrastinating, here I am... starting my very own blog. Hopefully I'll do a better job of keeping up with it than I do with my daughter's web page!
